Wybot C2 Vision Plus: our review
An AI-driven camera that targets dirt instead of sweeping blindly, eight modes, six paths and a claimed 210 m². Out of category because it changes the nature of the service delivered — and the budget.

Who it's for
- A large pool, up to 210 m², for someone who accepts controlling their robot from an app and wants to never think about it again.
Who it's not for
- Those who want to press a button. All the added value goes through the app: without it, you're paying for features you won't use.
What the camera really changes
Most pool robots sweep the pool on a fixed pattern, whether there's dirt or not. The C2 Vision Plus carries an AI-driven camera and a « Vision AI » mode presented as targeting dirt with precisionC. The point isn't the technical feat: it's the battery time not wasted on areas that are already clean, hence more useful coverage at equal runtime. On a 210 m² poolC — the largest claimed surface on this page — that difference stops being a gimmick.
Eight modes, six paths
The app gives access to eight modes: waterline, walls only, floor only, full, Turbo floor, Eco floor, walls + floor, and Vision AIC. Expert mode also lets you choose the path: S, cross or star for the floor, N, H or V for the wallsC. That's a lot, and most of that richness will never be used. What does get used: launching a « waterline only » cycle after a storm, or « Eco floor » for routine maintenance, without burning battery on the full programme.
Two-stage filtration
The 180 µm basket is backed by a HEPA filterC. The latter traps the fine particles that, on a single-stage system, pass back through the media and return to the pool. Combined with the brushless motorC — fewer wear parts on an immersed device — it's a coherent package for intensive use. As always with fine filtration: it clogs faster and needs a rinse after every cycle.
What should make you hesitate
The price, far above the rest of the selection, is the first hurdle. The second is subtler: everything goes through the app. If you don't fancy managing a pool robot from your phone, most of what you pay for will stay unused, and a Wybot C2 will do the same basic work for much less. Finally, at 10.9 kgC, it's the heaviest on this page: getting it out of the water takes a real effort, possibly two hands.

Frequently asked questions
About the Wybot C2 Vision Plus
Is the AI camera actually useful?
Its value is avoiding wasted battery on areas that are already clean, so covering more useful surface at equal runtime. On a small pool the gain is marginal; on the claimed 210 m², it becomes concrete.
What's the difference with the standard Wybot C2?
The standard C2 covers the same areas — floor, walls, waterline — over 150 m² instead of 210, without the AI camera, the eight modes or the customisable paths. If you don't plan to control the robot from an app, the standard C2 delivers the essentials for much less.
Can you use it without a smartphone?
A basic cycle is still possible, but the targeted modes, the paths and the Vision AI mode go through the app. Without it, most of this model's value disappears.
Is it suited to an above-ground pool?
The manufacturer claims compatibility with both above-ground and in-ground pools. That said, putting a robot of this category on an above-ground pool with a soft wall means paying for wall features you won't benefit from.
