Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2: our review
260 minutes of runtime, the best on this page, an extending mop for the edges and a dedicated pet mode. It does about 80% of the L40s Pro Ultra's work for much less.

Who it's for
- A large flat or a house where runtime comes first, for someone with no thick carpets who doesn't want to pay for the premium tier.
Who it's not for
- Households with thick carpet: 10,000 Pa is half of the top models, and it shows on long fibres.
The best runtime in the comparison
260 minutes claimedC, more than four hours: the highest figure on this page, ahead of the Lefant M3 Max's 220 minutes and the L40s Pro Ultra's 195. In a multi-storey house or a large open floor, that means a full cycle without returning to the dock mid-way — and therefore genuinely consistent cleaning rather than a mid-course resumption after recharging. It's the strongest argument of this model, and it's rarely highlighted compared with suction figures.
MopExtend: the edges, again
The MopExtend RoboSwing mop extends to reach narrow and hard-to-access areasC. It's the same logic as the Roborock Qrevo Plus's extending mop, and one of the few recent innovations whose result is visible to the naked eye: the strip along the skirting boards is actually treated. The CleanGenius system also adjusts the water level according to the dirt detectedC, so you don't soak a parquet over a coffee stain.
Pet mode
The robot identifies the areas pets frequent and goes over them twice in depthC, with collection optimised towards the dust bag. In a household with a cat or dog, this targeted re-passing logic partially compensates for the 10,000 Pa — less power, but applied twice where it matters. Carpet strategies remain numerous: optimised suction, intensive cleaning, carpets first or complete avoidanceC.
What should give you pause
10,000 Pa is half of the top models. On thick carpet or a long-pile rug, the difference shows. The dock is rated for 75 daysC against 100 for the L40s Pro Ultra — less maintenance autonomy, without being a dealbreaker. Finally, the TriCut tangle-free brush, the one that solves the long-hair problem, is sold separatelyC: factor it into the budget if that's your situation.

Frequently asked questions
About the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2
What does 260 minutes actually get you?
Covering an entire house in a single cycle, without returning to the dock mid-way. The cleaning is then consistent, rather than split into two passes separated by a one-to-two-hour recharge.
Are 10,000 Pa enough with a pet?
On hard floors and short-pile carpets, yes, especially since pet mode passes twice over the affected areas. On thick carpet or long-pile rugs, a 19,000 or 20,000 Pa model will be noticeably more effective.
What's the difference with the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra?
The L40s claims almost double the suction, an included tangle-free brush and a 100-day dock. The L10s Gen 2, on the other hand, offers the best runtime on this page at a lower price. Without thick carpets, the price gap is hard to justify.
Is the tangle-free brush included?
No: the TriCut brush, which makes untangling long hair and fur easier, is sold separately. It's a cost to plan for if you have long hair or a long-haired pet.
