Roborock Qrevo Plus: our review
You pay for the brand, but above all you pay for navigation and an app that don't trip over the carpet. The extending mop reaches the edges others leave behind.

Who it's for
- Someone who prefers a robot that works without surprises for five years over a robot that displays the biggest number on the box.
Who it's not for
- Hunters of raw power: 7,000 Pa is clearly less than the 19,000 or 20,000 Pa shown higher up the ranking.
Why 7,000 Pa is enough here
It's the figure that makes you wince next to the 19,000 and 20,000 Pa shown above, and it deserves a frank explanation. On hard floors, the brush and mop do most of the work; suction power only becomes decisive on thick carpets. The claimed 7,000 PaC cover parquet, tiles and short-pile carpets without difficulty. On thick carpet or with a heavy-shedding dog, the 19,000 Pa models keep a real advantage. It's the only ground on which this Roborock yields to the competition on this page.
The mop that reaches the edges
The dual rotating mop spins at 200 rpmC and, above all, extends sideways to clean along skirting boards and into cornersC. That's the structural flaw of almost all robots: they leave a few centimetres along the walls. Thirty water-flow levels are adjustable from the appC, letting you barely dampen a parquet and soak a kitchen floor. The automatic 10 mm liftC avoids wetting carpets on the way, including on the return to the dock.
Navigation: what you're really buying
PreciSense LiDAR for 3D mapping, Reactive Tech for obstacle avoidanceC. This is where the price gap is justified: Roborock's navigation reliability is the point with the most consistent user feedbackA. A robot that doesn't get stuck, doesn't miss zones and resumes correctly after recharging is, in practice, worth more than a more powerful robot you have to fish out from under the sofa once a week.
What should give you pause
The price, first, for a suction power below cheaper competitors. The size, then: 12 kg for the whole setC, with a dock that takes up real space. Finally, the reference confusion noted above — Qrevo Plus or Qrevo S depending on where you look on the Amazon listing — means you must check what you're ordering.
