Roborock Saros 10R: our review
22,000 Pa, a 7.98 cm profile that fits under low furniture, and turret-free 3D detection. Out of category because at this price, you're no longer comparing one vacuum to another.

Check before you order. This is indeed the Saros 10R and not the Saros 10, which isn't sold on Amazon.co.uk. The two share the range but not the navigation system: the 10R uses turret-free 3D detection, the Saros 10 a retractable lidar. Tests published on the Saros 10 don't carry over.
Who it's for
- A household with low furniture and wall-hung cabinets, for someone for whom budget isn't the deciding criterion.
Who it's not for
- The vast majority of homes: the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra does most of the job for a fraction of the price.
The only argument that counts: height
7.98 cmC. That's the figure that justifies this review, far more than the 22,000 Pa. Most robots measure between 9.5 and 11 cm because of the lidar turret sticking out of the chassis, so they go around anything lower: sofas, beds, TV units, wall-hung kitchen cabinets. The Saros 10R replaces that turret with integrated 3D detectionC and goes where the others stop. If your furniture leaves 8 to 10 cm of ground clearance, it's the only model on this page that actually cleans underneath.
What the rest of the spec sheet brings
22,000 Pa HyperForceC, the highest figure in the comparison, useful on carpets and rugs. The FlexiArm arm moves the side brush and mop out to reach corners and skirting boardsC — the same logic as the extending mops seen above, pushed a step further. The AdaptiLift chassis, with its left/right wheels and omnidirectional system, clears thresholds and furniture feet up to 4 cmC.
Why it's out of the ranking
Because comparing it to the other five would make no sense: it plays in a price range where you no longer compare one robot vacuum to another, but a household appliance to a dishwasher. Ranking it first would create a misleading hierarchy, since the price-to-value ratio would put it last. So we flag it for what it is: the machine to get if the height-under-furniture constraint is your main problem, or if budget isn't a factor.
What should give you pause
The price, by far the highest on this page. The dock's footprint, 48 × 49 × 38 cmC for a 21.5 kg setC. And the range confusion noted above: much of the content online tests the Saros 10, not the 10R, whose navigation differs. For a standard home without a height constraint, the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra delivers very similar performance for a fraction of the price.

What's the difference between the Saros 10 and the Saros 10R?
The navigation system. The Saros 10 uses a retractable lidar, the 10R an integrated turret-free 3D detection. Only the 10R is sold on Amazon.co.uk, and the tests published on the Saros 10 don't carry over.
Is 7.98 cm really a decisive advantage?
Only if your furniture leaves a ground clearance between 8 and 10 cm. In that case, it's the only robot on this page that will clean underneath. Otherwise, height isn't a criterion and the price gap isn't justified.
Without a lidar turret, is navigation reliable?
The manufacturer claims a 3D detection capable of mapping and avoiding obstacles, including under tight furniture. It's a more recent technology than rotating lidar; we don't have field hindsight to compare it, and we flag it rather than assert it.
Is it worth its price against the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra?
For a standard home, no: the L40s Pro Ultra delivers very similar performance for much less. The answer flips if height under furniture is your main constraint.
